In the era of 5-axis machining centers, our UMC-730T can not only accomplish simultaneous 5-axis machining, but can also perform the turning capability. All linear guideways are equipped with HEIDENHAIN linear scales to achieve high speed without compromising the accuracy. The built-in milling-turning spindle can run up to 15000 rpm.
●Optimized Construction: The base and columns are built in a one-piece casting, which greatly improves the structural stability, machining accuracy, and efficiently reduces the accumulated runouts.
●Independent Designs of 3 Axes and 2 Rotating Axes: 3 linear axes move on a platform different from the one for 2 rotating axes. In this case, the machine can greatly reduce the runouts caused by "curve tolerances" and "linear movement tolerances".
●Separate Areas for 3 Axes and Machining Space: This design can greatly stop the coolant, chips and any other substances from entering the linear guideways. Chip removal rate is highly increased as well thanks to the funnel type structure under the rotary table.
